Shadow Art: Tim Noble and Sue Webster

Tim Noble and Sue Webster make arrangements of objects such as rubbish and taxidermy animals, and then project a light onto them.  This casts a shadow onto the wall, revealling an image.  The objects are arranged in a certain way so that their collective shadows make up the image of something else, often self portraits.

I think this is a really clever way of creating an image.  I like how each object is placed in a certain way and even though the sculptures can look like a pile of random objects they each make up the details in the shadow.
