Paper Cut-Outs, Simone Lourenco (Movement)

These are paper cut-outs by Simone Lourenco.  She  uses the technique of paper-cutting to show movement.  These works show the movement of growth in plant and animal life.  I like how the paper cut outs appear to be in continuous motion and how the artist has created spaces using the cut-out paper.

I also like the combination of colour and lines in these cut-outs.  The curved lines look like they are moving in different directions and the colours make them stand out.
