I like the idea of filling a space with light. Today I got three plastic cups; pink, green and blue. I noticed that if I placed LED lights underneath them they emit a really nice bright coloured light.
I found I could mix the colours by placing one cup over the other. I really like the bright blue in the centre of this one, and how the pink around the edges turns purple at the side too.
