On Tuesday we started our knitting project. One of the swatches we have to knit is a colour study. I based the colours of my swatch on this picture from my first semester project:

I shredded calico fabric and used it to knit this swatch with 20mm knitting needles. The thick strip of fabric and the bigger knitting needles made a loose knit which I liked.
I felted lengths of pure Merino wool with coloured yarns to make this felted yarn. I prefer this type of yarn with the extra bright coloured yarn to the felt on it's own.
